Alpinestars Supertech R10

Alpinestars’ first full-face race helmet — insanely stable at speed with wild airflow.

This is Alpinestars’ first full-face race helmet, and it doesn’t feel like a “first try” at all. The Supertech R10 flows a ridiculous amount of air, feels ultra-stable even leaned off in fast corners, and “disappears” at speed with almost no buffeting. Out of the box you also get the full kit: bag, dark visor, Pinlock insert, tear-offs, and a chin skirt — very premium experience.

Final Thoughts
The Supertech R10 is the kind of helmet you buy when you care about high-speed stability and real track performance. The airflow is borderline outrageous (great for hot days, less ideal for perfect motovlog audio), and the aero work is legit: it stays planted even when you’re leaned off with no wind protection from the bike. Add the included extras (dark visor, Pinlock, tear-offs, bag), plus the clever fit/rotation system, and this is a serious premium race lid that feels worth its price if you ride hard.
The Verdict
THE GOOD
  • Insanely stable at speed — feels like it “disappears” in the wind
  • Ventilation is top-tier (10/10) with lots of controlled intake/exhaust
  • Premium kit included: dark visor, Pinlock, tear-offs, bag, chin skirt
THE BAD
  • Expensive — usually $1,000+ depending on graphics
  • Lots of airflow can add wind noise for motovlogging until dialed
  • Not the flattest shell for clean Bluetooth mount placement
FAQ
Q: Is it good for track days?
A: Yes — this is where it shines. Stability, airflow, and the optional rotation/fit tuning are made for tucked riding and leaning off.

Q: Can I install a Cardo/Sena?
A: Speaker cutouts and wire routing are great, but the outer shell isn’t perfectly flat everywhere, so mounting placement can take a little trial and error.

Q: Is it quiet?
A: It’s quieter than you’d expect for how much ventilation it has, but the amount of air moving inside can create wind noise for recording until you dial your mic placement.
